Terms of Service
Last updated: October 6, 2026
These Terms of Service govern your use of Add a Date Stamp and this website. Add a Date Stamp is provided by its independent developer, reachable at appwould.work@gmail.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Add a Date Stamp helps you insert and update date and time stamps in Google Slides. Features include date formatting, language and time-zone selection, appearance and placement controls, slide targeting, saved preferences, and temporary undo. Timestamps reflect the time at which you apply them; they do not continuously refresh and are not certified records of creation or modification.
2. Access and permissions
You need a Google account, access to Google Slides, and permission to edit the relevant presentation. Availability may depend on your organization’s administrator settings and Google’s services. You authorize only the permissions described in the Google authorization screen and our Privacy Policy. You must be legally able to agree to these terms, or use the service with appropriate parent, guardian, or organizational authorization.
3. Acceptable use
Use Add a Date Stamp only for lawful purposes and with presentations you are authorized to modify. Do not misuse the service, bypass security controls, disrupt its operation, or use it to violate another person’s rights. You are responsible for your account security and the content you choose to modify.
4. Your content and responsibility
You retain ownership of your presentations and other content. You allow the processing necessary to perform the actions you request. Check your selected slides, formatting, time zone, and resulting timestamps before relying on them or sharing your presentation. Keep appropriate backups; temporary undo is not a backup service and may be unavailable if cached data expires or is evicted.
5. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy describes the information accessed, its purposes, storage, service providers, retention, and your choices. Contact us with data-related requests using the address above.
6. Availability and changes
We may update features, fix errors, or suspend or discontinue the service. Availability depends in part on Google and other providers. We do not promise uninterrupted availability or that every device, language, or presentation configuration will be supported. Any future paid offering would disclose pricing and payment terms before a purchase; this website does not process payments.
7. Intellectual property and third-party services
The Add a Date Stamp name, website, and software remain the property of their respective owners. These terms grant permission to use the service, not ownership of the software. Google Slides is a trademark of Google LLC. Add a Date Stamp is independently developed and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Google. Google services remain subject to Google’s own terms.
8. Disclaimers and limitations
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service, including lost data, profits, or business opportunities. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Ending use
You may stop using Add a Date Stamp at any time, uninstall it, and revoke its Google account access. Existing stamps remain in your presentation until you remove them. We may restrict access where necessary to address misuse, security risks, or legal requirements.
10. Changes to these terms and support
Revised terms will be published here with an updated date. Where required, we will provide notice or request agreement before material changes apply. For questions, issues, or concerns, email appwould.work@gmail.com or visit Support.
